Description

The OR performs the following procedures: Transplant Service - Kidney, Pancreas & Heart, Minimally Invasive Procedures - All services, Endovascular Room (1), Digital OR, Total Joints, Robotics in Urology, GYN and Cardiovascular and Artificial Disc. Responsible for scrubbing and circulating.

Qualifications

Applications will be considered from nurses with a RGN qualification who are currently working in theatres and have a minimum of 2 years experience in theatres, all applicants must and have passed NCLEX.

Skills/ Experience

Minimum of 2 years OR experience in an acute setting. Must be comfortable doing a minimum of 2 specialties and able to both scrub and circulate.

Experience working under stressful conditions and in difficult situations, working in a continually changing work environment. Requires a confident, team player, patient advocate, assertive personality but not aggressive.
