The requirements for relocating to the US to practice as a nurse can appear to be complicated at first, but in fact they are quite simple.

To practice as a nurse in the US you must have passed the NCLEX exam before starting a nursing job.

This does not mean that you have to have passed NCLEX before interview but you should be in a position to start studying immediately you have received a job offer. We can put you forward for interview without NCLEX as long as the hospital agree, however your chances of getting a job and choice of location will be much greater if you have already passed the exam.

All applicants for interview with our clients for US nursing jobs must :

  • Be REGISTERED NURSES with a minimum of TWO years acute care experience
  • Have covered both theory and clinical placements in each of the following during their training:- MEDICINE, SURGERY, PEDIATRICS, and OBSTETRICS AND PYSCH
  • (NB This means that you should have at least 40 hours of theory and practical experience in each of the subjects) if you do not have these hours you will not qualify to sit the NCLEX exam.
  • Have good English language skills and passed IELTS if you studied in a non English speaking country
  • Be prepared to undergo the potentially lengthy process involved in nurse registration in the US and immigration procedures.
  • Register with a US State Board of Nursing for eligibility to take the NCLEX
  • Be ready to commit to the process & passing the required exams

If you meet the above requirements you can either contact us for more information and a telephone discussion or you can apply now.
